Album & singles releases

The aptly titled Safari Through Unusual Layers presents the different facets of my musical universe as well as chronicles of key events of my personal life.

From Les Yeux Secs, tale of a painful break-up, to Hit By Cops, whose title says it all, we’re taken on a journey through House, Techno, Ambient and African territories. The album offers several dancefloor burners – Mbife feat Fania, After Hours feat. JJ Scenario, Mechanical Traction, Hit By Cops - as well as more delicately arranged compositions – Khen Hook, Bloom Doudouk, Wild Spaghetti, Stayin’ Home - combining electronic and analog layers in a very soulful and introspective way.

The album features great collaborations from talented musicians and singers Didier Malherbe (from legendary band Gong) , Chin Chin, Fania, JJ Scenario

This personal and musical album should definitely appeal to fans of artists like Ame, Henrik Schwarz, Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Charles Webster, Chateau Flight, Larry Heard, Carl Craig, Blaze, and labels such as Innercityvisions, Moodmusic, Miso, Versatile, Planet E, Sunday Music

The short version

Parisian DJ and composer, I started producing in 1999, when I bought my first sampler. Released in 2001, my first record “Love Linge” (Missive) was well received, by both the press and public.

More releases ensued on Missive, Battle, Initial Cuts and Dialect recordings, gaining support from such greats Djs/producers as Laurent Garnier, Blaze, Joe Claussel, Âme, Dixon, M.A.N.D.Y, Idjut Boys, Rainer Trüby, Rob Mello, Daniel Bell, Quentin Harris, and appear on compilations such as Buddha Bar, ParisLounge, Defected, Southport Weekender, SoulHeaven etc.
